Exploring Employability Skills, CV's and Reasonable Adjustments At Work

09 October 2024

In October 2024, we welcomed over 2,400 parents and carers to our Virtual SEN Conference, ‘Strategies, Support & Success For Our Children,’ where experts in neurodiversity came together to offer practical advice and support. Here, Janine Drew, Futures Lead from our Group, presents 'Supporting Your Neurodivergent Child: Breaking Down Barriers To Employment'.

Supporting Parents & Carers

In this webinar, Janine provides guidance for supporting parents and young people in transitioning to life beyond education. She outlines the key employability skills that employers look for, strategies for managing self-regulation in the workplace, and how to break down daily tasks to develop essential life skills for work. Additionally, Janine discusses workplace adjustments for people with ADHD, autism, and other neurodiverse conditions.
