MP enjoys a quality visit

Pupils and staff from Westmorland School recently welcomed MP for Chorley and Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, to take part in their Friday session ‘A Quality of Life.’
During the day, he joined pupils in a variety of activities, and witnessed Panders Class take part in their weekly yoga session, and Leopards and Lions Class enjoy a giant parachute activity.
Prior to the day, year 2 pupil, Gabriel spent some time researching Speakers of the House of Commons to prepare questions, and was particularly interested in Sir Lindsay’s pets, including a giant tortoise, all named after famous politicians!
Everyone was proud to be involved to show their wonderful school to their MP.
