Ambassadors Overnight Stay
A sense of excitement and adventure filled the air as the group of ambassadors from Westmorland School got to experience their first-ever sleepover.
The team made up of pupils who have made outstanding contributions to the school community, started their adventure with a trip to Blackpool. It all kickstarted with a stroll along the promenade to see the illuminations, which painted a vibrant scene across the seaside town. Next up was a visit to the amusements, where the pupils unleashed their playful spirits. Then, to conclude their adventure, against the backdrop of crashing waves and seagull serenades, the pupils gathered to indulge in a classic feast—fish and chips.
The pupils then returned to school, where they began the preparations for their sleepover. The ambassadors displayed their independence by pitching their tents and working seamlessly together to ensure they had a secure and warm shelter for the night.
They continued their fun the following day as they met up with other ambassadors to watch a film and visit a local play area.
Teacher Rebecca Harrison commented:
“The pupils were outstanding representatives of the school when out in the community and are looking forward to their next adventure in the spring.”
