Wellbeing Award for Hall Cliffe Primary
Hall Cliffe Primary School is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools. This whole-school award focuses on ensuring effective practice and provision is in place, promoting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of pupils and staff.
The award has helped the school to create a long-term culture where talking about feelings and emotions is actively encouraged.
Claire Traynor, Head Teacher of the school commented:
"We have raised the profile of mental health and wellbeing and encouraged staff, children and their parents and carers to become more confident to talk about mental health, as we would our physical health. We have created a culture where it is ok to not be ok, and to know there is support and help available."
