Thriving and surviving in the great outdoors
Pupils from Millcourt School recently explored the great outdoors to develop their forest survival skills, as part of their enrichment activity.
The opportunity allows them to learn new skills and has cross-curricular links with subjects such as maths, science and PHSCE. Ready and raring to go, pupils made shelters, gathered foliage to build a campfire and even helped to conserve the area, while creating lasting memories.
This was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to work together as a team as they enjoyed the great outdoors, and taking in the natural surroundings.
The exciting adventure has certainly been successful, and pupils can’t wait to explore more and further develop their survival skills.
Great work team!
