The Grange Learning Centre celebrate another stunning result

05 April 2019

Staff and pupils are celebrating at The Grange Learning Centre following the publication of their latest report by Ofsted. The school has been judged as outstanding in all areas again, which once again highlights the incredible learning environment the school offers to all of its pupils.

The Oftsed report was glowing in praise for the learning centre, its staff and the overall approach to the education, care and support of each child.

The report noted:

  • The headteacher is inspirational in his dedication to the pupils, staff and the school. He has continued to develop and improve the school since the last inspection. The leadership team promotes the well-being of staff and pupils. They ensure that many levels of support are in place.
  • Staff are highly skilled, motivated and determined to provide pupils with the best school experience possible. Staff are a very close-knit team and they support each other in their daily practice very well.
  • Pupils make strong and sustained progress in all year groups and across all subjects. This is because of the high-quality teaching they receive and the support of the school’s therapists and specialist practitioners.
  • Pupils access a wide range of qualifications. Together with the support of the excellent careers guidance they receive, pupils are enabled to achieve their future aspirations.

John O’Neill, Regional Director of The Grange Learning Centre, proudly commented:

"The Grange Learning Centre has inspirational leaders, with an extremely ambitious learning culture which allows pupils to make strong and sustained progress towards their aspirational goals. Teaching and learning is consistently outstanding across the school with a distinct determination and commitment by staff to ensure that all pupils make strong progress and achieve well.  As Regional Director, I could not be prouder of the staff and young people, who continue to work together to create this outstanding Learning Centre."
