The gift that keeps on giving
Last term, pupils and staff from Pontville School came together to raise money and awareness for a number of charities over a two month period, raising an amazing £650.13!
They celebrated Remembrance Day, Children In Need and Christmas Jumper Day by taking part in a range of activities, including non-uniform days, cake sales and selling merchandise. Furthermore, families also donated shoeboxes for the Love Appeal which helps homeless families within the local community.
Alongside all this activity the 16-19 students have also raised a staggering £826.75 from their annual Christmas Market which is part of their enterprise studies.
How brilliant is their fundraising efforts? A big well done to everyone involved!
