Pom-pom perfection
Pupil Scarlett from The Eaves Learning Centre has shown phenomenal ambition and growth in the Key Stage 2 Art & Design course, where the focus has been on textiles.
Scarlett has created a fantastic pom-pom for a clothing range she is designing and making for her dolls. She has learned new skills and achieved wonderful outcomes, and a testament to this is staff entering her work for the AQA Pom Pom Entry Level qualification. She is excited about receiving her certificate from AQA and loves her textiles lessons at The Eaves.
Textiles Teacher, Hannah Eaton, commented;
"I am so proud that the youngest pupil has shown the determination and ambition to become the first member of the school community to gain an AQA Unit Award, recognising her tremendous achievement."
Head Teacher, Colin Cattanach added:
"We are really proud of Scarlett and the quality of her work in textiles. She has been brilliantly engaged and has discovered a love for the subject. She should be really proud of her achievements."
Well done Scarlett!
