Snow and tell!

Teacher, Khorrum Khan from Avon Park School recently entered a competition with Redrow’s Winter Sports to win a trip for Maple Class to visit Milton Keynes Escape ski centre.
As part of the submission, Khorrum described how pupils would benefit from the trip, and he did this magnificently as he mentioned that the opportunity would not only benefit the pupils’ manual dexterity skills but would link in nicely to the science topic of Kinetic Energy and Gravitational Potential Energy.
The judges were impressed with the winning entry and awarded the class £500 to spend on skiing lessons.
Delighted pupils are excited about their upcoming trip and are already getting ready for a day on the slopes!
