Oscar worthy performances
Pupils from Queensmead House School’s Primary unit have been studying 101 Dalmatians in their English lessons and recently, the book was incorporated into their drama lessons with Executive Head Teacher, Justine Sims.
The duo have been learning about the role of an Environmental Health Officer and plan to interview Cook in Charge, Nicky James, to understand her role and complete an audit of their own to ensure the school meets the required food hygiene standards.
During their practical lessons, they have been focusing on mastering the basics in cooking as they tackled making homemade pizzas and chocolate rolls. To decorate their rolls they foraged for suitable leaves in the school’s garden, prepared them, and turned them into edible chocolate leaves.
The pupils have been praised for their dedication and achievements so early on in the course by staff.
Their creations certainly look tempting. Well done everyone.
