Pupils Celebrate Heroes
Pupils and staff from Cedar House Lower School recently came together to celebrate Colonel Tom’s 100th birthday, and to show their support and appreciation to the NHS heroes for all their wonderful hard work. The nation’s hero and inspiration Colonel Tom raised money for the NHS by walking 100 lengths of his back garden.
As part of their day of celebration, staff wore blue to show their support to the NHS. A birthday celebration isn’t complete without a cake so they also indulged in a huge yummy cake!
Pupils used their artistic skills to design some brightly coloured medals and continued to explore their artistic flair as they created some rainbow displays, and decorated pebbles in honour of the NHS. They also wrote some pieces of work to express their feelings.
All the creative work produced by pupils has been displayed in the entrance hall to the school.
Well done everyone!
