Pontville shortlisted for national award
We are delighted to announce that Pontville School has yet again been shortlisted for another award, this time the prestigious Pearson Shine a Light Awards 2018. The School has been shortlisted in the category of ‘SEN School of the Year’ and must now wait to see who the judges select as the winner.
The winner will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Thursday 22nd March. The glittering ceremony in London will host guests in education and healthcare.
Justine Sims, Head Teacher commented:
‘We are delighted that we have been shortlisted for the Pearson ‘Shine a Light Award’ for SEN School of the Year. The award celebrates innovative work and excellent practice in supporting children and young people’s communication development. We feel that this is a real strength for us here at Pontville. We will be attending an award ceremony in March along with the other shortlisted schools, groups and individuals so we are keeping everything crossed for then!’
