Pontville School Blog 118: Amelia Wins Pig Breeding Awards And Rosettes

Pupil Amelia from Pontville School recently made everyone proud as she won awards and rosettes at a Staffordshire Show for her pig breeding skills.
Despite some initial nerves, Amelia thoroughly enjoyed the day including her role of ‘stewarding’ the juniors. Working with Grace, the school’s farm technician, Amelia has been learning to show pigs which has helped her in winning two rosettes and awards.
