A summer of sporting success
One of Pontville School’s rising sports stars, Elliot, showcased his incredible talent after competing at the renowned England Athletics competitions during the six-week holiday.
The dedicated and passionate athlete was invited to compete in the U15 & U17 Event Championships and Para Championships event, competing against a GB international and some of the country's top athletes of their age.
Remarkably, Elliot achieved a triumphant bronze win in the high jump, jumping 1.80m, ranking him 6th best in the U15 boy category in the UK - how impressive is that?
His accomplishments don’t stop there. He has demonstrated his dedication to the sport after competing at many other events throughout the year, including:
- Finalist in English Schools National Championships - High Jump July (2023)
- Merseyside County Champion - High Jump: (May 2023)
- Lancashire Schools County Champion - High Jump: (June 2023)
