Female pupils and staff from Pontville School recently celebrated International Women’s day with a friendly football game.
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating women's social, economic, cultural and political achievements.
During their match, there was a real buzz of excitement as they came together to show off their remarkable footballing skills and sportsmanship. There was true team spirit throughout, and it was a close-fought match, with the staff team winning 10-9.
