Pontville Blog 140: Raising awareness of a great cause

Children and young people have got into the spirit of this year’s BBC Children in Need by taking part in a range of activities to raise money and awareness for the great cause on Friday 13 November. The annual November appeal helps the charity to fund local charities and projects which help remove the barriers that are facing children and young people so that they can thrive.
Deputy Head Teacher, Paul Lyons was kindly invited to Class 4A’s biscuit making session. With the help of pupil, Owen, he quickly mastered icing biscuits of Pudsey, the charities’ mascot. By the end of his training session, Paul’s skills passed the test, although he did manage to break Pudsey’s leg – oops!
