The deep blue aquarium
Year 11 pupils from Oversands School recently planned a trip to the Lakes Aquarium as part of their Personal Development Curriculum.
The explorers were involved in planning the visit, including costings and determining the most economical route and timings. These valuable skills will serve them well in the future, both in their personal and professional lives.
The trip was an engaging and educational experience, allowing them to enjoy the Lake District scenery and learn about a range of aquatic and land animals from across the globe.
Careers Lead, Paul Wilkinson commented:
"The trip was an excellent opportunity for pupils to take a break from their busy exam schedules and connect with nature, and I was very proud of how they embraced the experience to further develop their skills with the planning process of the trip."
Well done, everyone!
