North West Air Ambulance visit
Oversands School recently welcomed the team from North West Air Ambulance (NWAA), who delivered an informative session on their roles and emergency safety.
Pupils gained valuable insights into the organisation and had plenty of questions throughout the session to deepen their understanding. Teacher, Paul Wilkinson has all the details:
“Having the North West Air Ambulance come into Oversands and share the information about the service with the pupils was one of the absolute highlights of the year. To see the students get so involved and interested in what the charity does was incredible. The staff from NWAA were so passionate about what they do, which really engaged the pupils.”
One of the speakers emailed the school after the visit:
‘I just wanted to email to say how much I enjoyed visiting Oversands today. The children were fantastic! I cannot believe how well-behaved and engaged they were! Credit to the school most definitely!’
