Foxes Class Explore Cathedral
Pupils from Foxes Class at Oversands School recently visited Carlisle Cathedral as part of their learning about Christianity in RE.
Teaching Assistant, Gavin Clayton took the time out to share with us the highlights of the trip.
The Diocese of Carlisle covers a huge area including Witherslack where we congregate at school ready for our trip to learn more about Christianity which we have been learning about in RE. When we arrived at the Cathedral we completed the mystery tour where we found strange and interesting features of the building. Pupils worked together to complete the tasks and offered each other help, and shared what they found. Their actions reflected the British Values and the Christian spirit they have been learning about in class.
