Ofsted success at Meadow View

Pupils and staff from Meadow View Learning Centre have been celebrating following the publication of their latest report by Ofsted. The school has been judged as good which highlights the brilliant learning environment the school offers to all of its pupils.

The school received a glowing report full of praise for staff and the excellent progress made by young people.

The report noted:

  • The headteacher, deputy headteacher and pastoral leader form a highly effective and ambitious team.
  • Teachers have high expectations of pupils. Effective support is available to ensure that pupils meet, and exceed, their individual targets.
  • Pupils have access to excellent pastoral and therapeutic support, which helps them to manage their emotions and previous traumatic experiences.
  • Pupils’ behaviour is outstanding. They work hard to overcome barriers to learning, attend school regularly and are determined to succeed. The school’s work to cater for pupils’ personal development and welfare is outstanding.

This Ofsted report is a testament to the passion and culture that is evident in the centre enabling every young person to experience opportunities in order to find their vocation and in turn achieve their true potential.
