Mixing, flipping and kneading

Pupils and staff from Ashbrooke School cooked up a storm as they got stuck into creating some delicious pancakes in celebration of Shrove Tuesday.
During their enrichment activity, they learned and developed new skills as they mixed and flipped their pancake batter and topped them off with their favourite fillings.
Staying in the kitchen, Year 11 pupils mastered their bread makings skills and added their own twist by reimagining flavours, making a bespoke loaf that any bread maker would be proud of.
They’ve certainly proved themselves!
