Long service celebrated
Staff from Lavender Lodge School were delighted to celebrate 15 years of service for a key member of the staff team.
Head Teacher, Lorraine Titchener shares more detail:
"Teaching Assistant, Meeta Chahaun is a valuable member of staff, who has worked in many different classes, from Early Years to Year 6. She is a very experienced member of the team, flexible in her working environment and an excellent support for new teachers. As well as getting involved in various school activities, such as the Girls Club and looking after the resource room, she is also a valued and our pupils' favourite baker!"
Meeta commented:
"In my 15 years of service I have seen children come and go, and most importantly flourish. I have learnt so much and have been able to pass this on to my colleagues, who work so hard."
