Developing communication skills

Pupils from Penguin Class at Lavender Lodge School have been making great progress working through the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), which allows them to communicate through pictures.
During the sessions, pupils have been developing an understanding of discrimination and skills in sequencing and language. As they continue to access the program, children will also develop their understanding of concepts, enabling them to access learning.
