Roll up, roll up, the circus arrives at Lakeside

Pupils and staff from Lakeside School celebrated their return to school by welcoming Circus Sensible, who put on a funny and magical show for everyone to enjoy.
Everyone chuckled their way through the show and given the opportunity to master the skills they saw by taking part in workshops hosted by the performers. After spending time with the professionals and hours of practice without clowning around, they showed off their new skills in choreographed routines to the rest of the school.
Teaching Assistant, Michelle Jones commented:
"The pupils demonstrated resilience, tenacity, teamwork and great showmanship – their plate spinning trick was a marvel to watch!"
They certainly are a brave bunch! Well done everyone.
