Ambassadors brave the big stage
Two pupil ambassadors from Lakeside School were recently invited to attend the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Conference in Bolton.
Rhys and Imogen represented the school in their roles as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, engaging in an icebreaker session, where they were able to share their knowledge, and understanding of this topic. They also enjoyed getting involved in group discussions to help develop a clear understanding of bullying.
Finally, to complete their day, they bravely spoke using microphones in front of the whole conference. It was an incredible achievement for both pupils, who made staff incredibly proud.
The information they gathered from the event will be shared with other Anti-Bullying Ambassadors with a view to feeding back to the whole school.
How brave are they? Well done!
