Lakeside celebrate TES Awards announcement
We are delighted to announce that Lakeside School’s Teacher, Lisa Buckley has been shortlisted in the ‘New Teacher of the year’ category for the prestigious TES Awards and must now wait to see who the judges select as the winner.
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Friday 22 June. The glittering ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London will host more than 1000 guests, including government ministers and the great and good from the education sector.
TES editor Ann Mroz commented:
“It is wonderful to see such innovative ideas and best-practice emerging from our schools and teachers. We had a record year for entries and the standard was the best so far – all those shortlisted should be very proud: it is an extraordinary achievement”.
