We are thrilled to share the amazing news that Richard Wilkins, Associate Director has won in the category of Outstanding Practice in Behaviour Support at the recent PBS International Leadership Awards.
To be shortlisted for such a prestigious award within our sector is an achievement enough but to be recognised as the most outstanding practitioner for behaviour support is something quite incredible.
The BILD PBS Leadership Awards recognise good practice and contributions to the development of positive behaviour support practice and aim to raise practice by recognising work of quality and quality of contribution over time.
Phil Jones, CEO commented:
“Richard has worked for Witherslack Group for over 30 years, rising through the ranks to now hold the position of Associate Director. He is someone who has always led the way in thinking differently about ways of working, most recently evidenced by him inspiring our whole organisation to adopt and implement Positive Behaviour Support.”
Fresh from his win, Richard took some time out and commented:
“I was thrilled to receive the award for ‘Outstanding Practice in Positive Behaviour Support’ on behalf of the Witherslack Group at the recent Bild Leadership awards ceremony. This award is truly shared due to our ‘boardroom to classroom’ whole organisational approach to implementing the PBS initiative. The impact that we have seen across all our services was described as ‘truly exceptional’ and I’d like say a big thank you to everyone. Well done and keep up the great work!”
Well done from everyone at Witherslack Group on this fantastic achievement.
