Personal best achieved on rocky terrain
30 April 2021
Harris, a young person from Glebe House Children’s Home, ventured out to explore Grizedale Forest in the Lake District, with Care Practitioner Robin Woodburn on their mountain bikes.
On a warm sunny day, the biking enthusiasts took to The North Face Trail, a dedicated red graded single-track mountain bike route – a challenging route and certainly not for the faint-hearted. The trail is made up of nine sections forming a 10.5 mile circuit interwoven with the gravel tracks. The ride took them over narrow and rocky terrains and down steep descents.
This ride was a great personal achievement for Harris, who also enjoys mountain biking at Cedar House School.
Well done Harris!
