End of year celebrations at Queensmead House School

27 July 2020

Queensmead House School recently welcomed families of their pupils for a Parent and Carer Consultation and Award Assembly.

The event focused on discussions on how their child has progressed since they started at the school. During the event, parents and carers shared their feedback on their child’s progress to staff, some of these are highlighted below.

"I cannot believe how amazing the transition has been in such a short time. My daughter is happy for the first time in so long."

"We have previously looked at school websites where there have been parents comments saying that the school is making a difference to their child. We used to think why can’t that be my child? – well now it is! Queensmead House is making such a difference for our children and we are so, so grateful."

"We cannot tell you how much a difference you have made not only to our son but also to us as a family. Words cannot express how grateful we are."

Later in the day parents and carers joined pupils and staff for a picnic then enjoyed the awards assembly for primary and secondary pupils.

The day ended with pupils from the primary unit singing, which was enjoyed by everyone.

Well done!
