Young people vouch to flush poverty away
11 June 2021
Young people from Elmbank Children’s Home have been inspired to flush away poverty, one toilet at a time.
Inspired by their learning, the young people have been working together to raise money and awareness for Toilet Twinning, a charity that works with poor communities and enables families to build a basic toilet, have access to clean water, and learn about hygiene – a vital combination that saves lives.
To raise money, young people from the home washed the cars of staff and visitors to help them to support the great cause that also keeps women, girls, and children safe.
A great team effort for a brilliant cause!
