Dovetree School: Random acts of kindness

08 March 2021

In February, pupils and staff from Dovetree School came together to learn about Random Acts of Kindness Week.

Scientific evidence shows us the positive effects of doing kind acts for others as well as receiving or even witnessing kindness. With this in mind, and in the lead up to the week-long event, pupils made small gifts to give to others around the school, including decorated cakes.

During half term, pupils were tasked with performing random acts of kindness for their families and to evidence them too by sharing them on SeeSaw (the school’s online earning and home communication system).

As you can see from the photos below,  they certainly spread the cheer with parent and carers being treated to breakfast in bed or cups of tea. How kind is that?

Well done everyone!

Pupils show their kindness.
