Double celebration for Lakeside
Lakeside School recently celebrated the success of their budding writers who submitted entries for the ‘Engage in Their Future’ 2017 National Creative Awards.
Lilybeth’s poem – Silly Lilly – was awarded 1st place in the Key Stage 1&2 category of the poetry division and Finley’s poem was awarded joint 2nd place in the same category.
Both winners will receive a certificate and a trophy delivered by the sponsors of the awards – The School Bus – who have kindly offered to personally deliver these to the School to help celebrate and applaud their amazing achievement.
To further celebrate the achievements of the winners of the ‘Engage in their Future’ 2017 National Creative Awards, each entry will be printed and framed for display at the National Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 5th July, and at the National Conference on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th July. Each winner will then be sent their framed short story as a keepsake of their achievement.
