Designers Create Their Own Worry Monsters

Aspiring designers from Abbeywood School have been busy designing and making their very own Worry Monsters in their Design and Technology sessions. The Worry Monsters are said to relieve anxieties and promote good mental health.
During the making of their creations, pupils have developed a range of skills from market research to writing a specification while developing practical skills such as basic hand stitches and operating a sewing machine.
One pupil commented that he doesn’t have any worries and therefore will use his to store money instead – who doesn’t love a multi functioning product?
Their skills are certainly impressive – well done everyone!
