Josh’s proudly dons Sea Cadets uniform
Pupils and the team from Cumberland School recently came together to celebrate a significant milestone for one of their own. Josh, a dedicated and hardworking pupil proudly received his Sea Cadets formal uniform, marking a noteworthy achievement in his journey.
The Sea Cadet Corps is a national youth charity. Cadets follow an ethos, training plan and rank structure similar to that of the Royal Navy, and are recognised by the UK Ministry of Defence.
Josh’s accomplishments are a testament to his hard work and resilience in the face of challenges.
Pastoral Care Manager, Peter proudly noted:
“Josh continues to progress into a young man and overcome his anxiety within social environments. For the past few months Josh has been attending his local Sea Cadets in Bury, developing his skills and passion to progress into the Military post 16. Josh is extremely proud with his progression and flourished in exhibiting his Cadet uniform.”
Well done, Josh!
