Going for gold at annual Olympics

Pupils and staff from Cumberland School ignited the spirit of competition at their annual Olympics Sports Day.
A highlight in the school’s calendar, this year’s event was no exception, taking place at Chorley Panthers Rugby Club.
The event kicked off with a burst of energy as everyone gathered to compete by class, who engaged in the friendly competition, filled with camaraderie and determination. The aspiring athletes took part in a wide range of sports and activities, such as the infamous tug-of-war and the classic sack race. Every event brought a wave of enthusiasm and friendly rivalry between the teams.
The day was a great success, celebrating the values of sportsmanship, teamwork and perseverance.
