Football focus at Cumberland
Pupils and staff from Cumberland School are excited to invite the team from Bridgeway School for a football match on their new Johan Cruyff Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).
They are looking forward to utilising their new resource to its full capability and are excited to play their first competitive game with Bridgeway. They are keen to start planning more fixtures.
Teacher, Ben Armstrong, and Pastoral Assistant, James Everitt have organised the event with Leon, football coach from Manchester City Football Club, who works closely with the school. He said:
"The young people are excited to finally play a competitive game. After such a long time away from playing other schools, it will be a brilliant occasion to celebrate the return to normality as well as show off our new facility."
The match is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 11th May at 11am. Best of luck to the teams!
