Zoologists explore park

23 October 2020

Pupils from Willow Class at Chilworth House School recently enjoyed a visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens. The trip also happened to be the first day for a pupil who joined the class, and welcoming as ever, the pupils and staff made sure that their first day was a fun experience, where there were plenty of opportunities to make friends.

During the day, the budding zoologists watched a range of animals including, giraffes, sifakas, zebras and lions to feathered creatures such as ostriches, parrots and eagles. They were particularly amused by the red panda and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the penguins. The class they enjoyed munching through their lunch on the lawn and played games such as ‘duck, duck goose’ and ‘grandma’s footsteps.’

Teaching Assistant, Kumari Parul commented:

"It was great to see pupils sharing animal facts and bonding well with each other. It was a great trip."

It certainly looks like it was a fun filled day!
