Practice makes perfect
10 July 2020
Cricket enthusiast, James, a pupil from Chilworth House Upper School was recently gifted two cricket tops from Surrey Cricket Club.
The delighted batsman was delighted to receive them and to top it off, the school organised a cricket net so he could practice. The net saves him time that would otherwise be lost chasing after a run-away ball or indeed losing cricket balls altogether. It also increases the level of safety during batting and bowling training sessions and allows James to continue to practice when the Great British weather comes rolling in.
Vocational Centre Manager, Andrew Hemming commented:
"This has had a very positive impact on James and he is very grateful."
