Music to their ears
Last term, pupils and staff from Chilworth House School welcomed a group of talented musicians from The Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra to facilitate weekly music lessons.
The musicians provided one-to-one sessions as well as group work, teaching pupils lots of new skills. Some children also learned the art of being conductors and had the pleasure of conducting the team of esteemed musicians.
Pupils also joined in, accompanying the team using their own instruments playing music from well-known tunes, including the James Bond theme tune and some from Disney films.
A huge thank you to Music Teacher Clare Chapman for organising this collaboration and to all the musicians from The Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra for their hard work and help!
