Football tournament brings in the smiles
The football squad from Chilworth House School recently hosted their first football tournament, the Marchbank Cup. The cup brought teams from Queensmead House School and Northern House School together.
Organised by Pastoral Care Assistant, Nicholas Jones, there was a real buzz of excitement prior to the event with aspiring athletes excited to show off their footballing skills and work as a team.
During the tournament, everyone who wanted to participate got the opportunity to play and were proud of their involvement; their smiles throughout were a real testament to this.
The overall champions were Chilworth House School, with pupil, Joshua picking up the trophy for top scorer.
The teams celebrated the successful event with refreshments, photos and even some colourful pom poms!
Pastoral Care Assistant, Joshua McGrath from Queensmead House School summed up the event by commenting:
"It was an Amazing day! Thank you for setting today up and giving all young people involved this opportunity. My boys absolutely loved it and are the happiest I’ve seen them. Thank you!"
Well done to everyone involved.
