One Last Big Clap For The NHS

Pupils and staff from Cedar House School recently welcomed Bentham Fire Brigade to join them for their Thursday night Clap for Carers tribute. Clap for Carers is a weekly event that encourages everyone to applaud the NHS and all key workers from their doorsteps and windows.
Turning the corner into the school yard, the fire service were greeted by delighted pupils who were eager to speak to the fire fighters and take the all-important photographs with the fire engine and the team of firefighters. At 8pm the blue sirens were set off along with the clapping of pupils and staff.
The visit was a roaring success and it was kindly organised by Team Leader, Hannah Loat. To view the video click here.
