A-mazing Work From Aspiring Artist
29 May 2020
Alice the aspiring artist from Cedar House School was recently given a challenge to create a personal piece of art using the environment as her inspiration.
As part of the challenge, Alice was asked to research the work of Andy Goldsworthy, a British artist known for his site-specific installations using natural materials such as rock, ice, leaves and branches. She took inspiration from Andy’s work and created an ‘A’ out of flowers and leaves using a tree stump to display her work of art.
Teacher, Kerry Cheshire commented:
I’m very proud of all the work she has been doing every day at home.
How amazing is her work?
