Cedar House pupils and staff get creative for local arts festival
11 May 2018
Pupils and staff from Cedar House School are celebrating after being awarded a coveted rosette at a the local Wray Scarecrow Festival.
The festival celebrated its 25th year of the annual competition, where entrants create their very own scarecrows. This year the theme was ‘Lights, Camera, Action’.
The pupils and staff created L’Oreal and Hardy and this scarecrow certainly had some moves! L’Oreal’s hand even moved so it looked like Hardy’s’ hairdryer was blowing.
The pupils made the armature in Land based Studies and Construction classes, then handed it over to the the Art Department who kindly put it together.
Classes from the school also went to the festival to have a look at the other wonderful entries.
Well done everyone!
