Bridgeway School Blog 10: The Masked Reader
As part of World Book Day and to celebrate this event, pupils and staff from Bridgeway School created their own unique version of the Masked Reader.
World Book Day celebrates authors, illustrators, books, and reading. The day is marked in the calendars of over 100 countries all over the world to help encourage children of all ages to read.
During the week a video was created of the masked reader and pupils had to guess which member of staff was reading the story, which book they were reading from, and to make it even more difficult they masked their voice!!
Pupils rose to the challenge trying to make the correct guesses, the competition was at an all-time high, yet everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day, and the winning pupils were able to choose a book of their choice to read at leisure.
