Staff team applauds young person

The staff team at Beck View Children’s Home were all very proud of a young person, Brendan, who helped an elderly man that had fallen in the street.
Michelle Hird, Home Manager, explains the incident and his act of kindness:
Along with staff, Brendan witnessed a man on the floor so they stopped the car and rushed over to help. He remained calm and quickly got out the first aid kit from the car boot without being asked to do so and took out the gloves and gave them to staff as he could see the man was bleeding. Brendan continued to support staff and the man by holding the his dog until further support came. He and staff waited with the man until the ambulance came and they informed the paramedics what they had witnessed.Well done Brendan!
