Hollywood’s calling
Pupils and the team from Avon Park School recently celebrated the success of a rising star, who recently won an award for his performing arts talent.
Nicholas, a Key Stage 4 pupil, has been performing on stage for several years, appearing in many established productions, such as Les Miserables. In recognition of his talent, he has recently been awarded first place in his category at the Nuneaton Drama Festival, an annual celebration which brings together individuals who all have a passion for performing arts.
This achievement is a credit to Nicholas’ dedication to his passion
Award. Ed Wright, Deputy Head Teacher commented:
“Avon Park School introduced Drama GCSE this academic year as Nicholas was so keen to hone his skills and talents through academic routes. We are extremely proud of the progress he is making in and out of school – well done Nicholas!”
