'Sounds' amazing!

Pupils from Ashbrooke School have been involved in a flurry of activity as they were introduced to new resources as part of their development in letter formation and sounds.
During their lessons, they used a variety of new materials to support teaching and learning, which reinforced the sound of the week ‘i’, using chalk pens in the tuff spot and their fingers to form the letters in the gloop. The literacy sessions were a great success helping pupils engage with their learning and development.

Meanwhile, pupil Damien built some armour in the construction area out of ‘Netherite’ from his favourite game Minecraft.
