Pupils and staff celebrate bronze award
Pupils and staff from Ashbrooke School were recently delighted to learn that they have achieved the School Games Bronze Mark Award for the 2018/19 academic year.
The School Games Mark is a Government led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. To achieve this award is a considerable milestone.
As part of the application process, the school were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs. Staff were pleased that the hard work of everyone at Ashbrooke has been rewarded with such an accolade.
