Let's give 'em pumpkin to talk about

Pupils and staff from Ashbrooke School prepared for Halloween by taking part in a mash-up of fun activities.
In art, Group 5 learned about ‘El dia de los Muertos,’ the Mexican Day of the Dead celebration that takes place on October 31st. Pupils explored how Mexicans celebrate the festival and along the way they picked up Spanish.
Elsewhere at the school, Bamburgh Castle Class explored autumn crafts as part of their Pupil Led Learning. The class enjoyed carving their own pumpkins and used the seeds by roasting them and making a healthy snack.
They certainly have great skill! Well done everyone.
