Improving lives, one drop at a time
Pupils and staff from Ashbrooke School have taken a remarkable step towards making a difference to the lives of millions of people in Africa by upgrading their water dispensing system.
As a result of the change, they have, to their surprise, become sponsors of ‘Elephant Pumps’, an initiative established by AquAid, who provide safe drinking water to communities in rural areas in Africa. For every dispenser installed, AquAid donate a contribution to sustainable charities. The ‘Elephant Pumps’ in particular has been established as a direct result of the money which has been donated to The Africa Trust, a charity dedicated to implementing sustainable solutions to poverty in Africa.
This initiative demonstrates the powerful impact of small actions. Keep up the good work!
